Barbering

The barbering program will teach you the art and designer's approach to hair care, for both men and women. By training in our hands-on focused program, you will graduate ready to begin working in a barbershop or salon.

The Pivot Point curriculum covers every aspect of hair care and design. "Pivot Point is a registered service mark and trademark owned by Pivot Point International,Inc." You’ll study advanced coloring techniques in our color lab, styling and sculpting techniques, as well as texture and perm design. You’ll be well-equipped to provide services such as shaves, fades, and facials. Federico offers you the chance to practice all of your new skills in a retail shop environment, where you will provide services to clients daily.

The barbering program student kit will give you over 100 pieces of professional equipment and products to use throughout your training and in the salon. This program culminates with state board preparation and participation in mock board exams. You will graduate ready to take the state licensing exam and begin working immediately.
