Manicuring

As an Industry Professional Partner with Creative Nail Design, Federico Career Colleges offers an in-depth and well-recognized nail technology program to all students. The program is designed to give you hands-on training in a salon environment, where you will practice the techniques you have learned on clients daily.

The program will not only teach you how to provide services like manicures and pedicures. You will also learn the health and safety laws related to the spa and salon environments, as well as proper nail health and possible diseases.

This program gives you the opportunity to work with professional products such as CND Brisa gel enhancements, CND Brisa UV lamps, CND Color Effects French & Bold Enamel, Sparkle, & Glitter Systems, and other professional spa products. When it comes time to take the state licensing exam, you will be fully prepared, having practiced with mock exams in the classroom.

Some of the subjects you will study include:

• Application of liquid and powder enhancements
• Brisa UV Gel system technology
• Nail art, including French manicures
• Nail structure, growth, and care
• Nail wraps, tips, and repairs
• Oil and spa manicures and pedicures – including foot and ankle massage
